Transportation from the airport to your hotel
The total distance from the airport (AERODROMIO in Greek) of Thessaloniki to your hotel is about 15 Km.
A taxi ride from the airport to the city center costs about 20 Euros. Almost all the drivers speak some English and they will be able to handle your request. Both names of the hotels are pronounced the same in Greek, so I hope you will not have any problem. On your way back to the airport, please make a taxi reservation in advance through your hotel.
At the airport you can get on bus number 78. The price of the ticket is 0.80 Euro if you buy it from the kiosk (0.90 Euro, if you buy it from the automatic ticket vendor, please consider that exact change is needed).
Departure times for bus 78 are presented at:
The way to the hotel

The buses are equipped with a GPS system. As a result there are visual signs and a vocal announcement of the next bus station both in Greek and in English.

The bus company of Thessaloniki runs a total of 70 different bus lines. There is no other public transportation at the city. Since 2006 the first metro line is constructing.
